Job Description:
This individual will be responsible for unloading shipping containers and loadingtrailers for shipment. He/she will also be responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all products for both inbound and outbound freight. Ensure that all products are free of damage and that production code dates/numbers are properly recorded
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO PERFORM JOB
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
Prior experience loading and unloading in a warehouse environment strongly preferred and/or previous background or physically demanding work in hot and cold conditions.
Specialized Knowledge (i.e. Certifications)
Function:
Ability to load and unload freight
Must be able to perform this process often for several continuous hours
Must be able to adapt to working in hot and/or cold temperature conditions
Function:
Standing, Lifting and Bending
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs
Must be able to pass a Pre-Work Screen (PWS)
Must be able to bend and lift safely and repetitiouslyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
